MISSION L
Skoda has releases these teaser images of the upcoming MissionL concept.
The MissionL concept is meant to preview new Skoda design and technical principals, and perhaps even give us a hint as to the upcoming next-generation Octavia.
Skoda, which will launch one of its latest cars, says the concept is a compact 5-door hatchback that is almost ready for production and will be marketed in China, Europe and Russia. The new compact 5-door hatch looks like a new C-segment car (golf class) for Europe between the Fabia and Octavia models.
The press release doesn't provide the actual details, but if you look at the design here, you'll see an echo of the VW brand design paradigm, especially the thick shoulder lines that run the length of the car.
And if you want to reach your goal of selling 1.5 million units a year by 2018, Skoda needs to add models to that range.
The Mission L Concept is a C-segment vehicle announced by Skoda. The pictures show that they are very close to the final production version of the car. For the time being, Skoda is ready to launch the new Skoda Lauretta sedan in the Indian market and will compete with other C-segment sedans, the Volkswagen Vento. The Skoda Lauretta sedan will be launched in India during the Christmas season and will be available on both diesel and petrol engines.
All Skoda models are likely to be the same from the outside, the only difference in all vehicles is the slight differences in length, design, headlights, taillights, etc. Skoda has a unique design that is completely different from all other brands. The Mission L Concept, unlike all Skoda cars, has a catchy and muscular body. This is a big plus. If the production model is its catchy, Skoda is sure to compete very closely among all the top brands in India.
