Vision E
The Škoda Vision E and Vision iV are vehicle design and technology studies in the form of a four-door coupé ("SUV-Coupé") with a sloping rear from Škoda Auto, which was presented in April 2017 at Auto Shanghai. According to the manufacturer, the study is intended to provide an outlook on the portfolio in the electromobility segment and is part of Škoda's electrification strategy
The designer was Jozef Kabaň, who introduced the Vision E design line with the Škoda Kodiaq. A specialty is the suicide doors on both sides. Equipped with lithium-ion batteries and an energy recovery system, the Vision E should have a range of around 500 km. It is powered by two electric motors with a total output of 225 kW (306 hp).
The modern SOKA's Vision E design wows with harmonious proportions, neatly molded surfaces, precise lines, and clean-cut edges. Equally characteristic are the powerful contours, which set the stage for a sensational interplay between light and shade that conveys dynamism and emotiveness. With their 3D design, the crystalline structures of the headlights, taillights, and other features dominate the sophisticated character that is defined by modern technology and a particular degree of refinement.
The maximum speed was specified as a regulated 180 km / h. [2] Vision E is built on the modular electric drive kit (MEB) from VW and should achieve level 3 of autonomous driving.
The ŠKODA VISION E, having been developed further, is characterized by the striking design of the bonnet, which is sculptured and features edges running towards the centrally placed brand logo that shines in white. Below the bonnet, a wide LED lighting strip runs across the vehicle’s entire width and flows at both ends into slim, triangular headlights. All lighting units at the front and sides are in white. As with other electrically powered cars, there is no classic radiator grille.
